Ann Bartholomeusz | $75 - $95

Join local artist Ann Bartholomeusz for a dynamic printmaking workshop in The Studio. Trace monotypes are created by drawing on a sheet of paper placed over a thin layer of ink. The technique produces one-of-a-kind prints with a soft linear quality. The process has immediate results and allows for experimentation with mark-making and tonal variation. Participants will make a set of trace monotypes of approximately A4 size and explore hand-colouring with watercolour paints and drawing media.
This workshop is suitable for all levels—beginners and those looking to expand their skills. Attendees may bring their own images or be inspired by Ann’s collection. All materials and equipment provided.
