The Future
Umbrella Members' Exhibition & Bamford Medical Art Prize
This exhibition highlights the talent and creativity of Umbrella Studio artists annually. Featuring works by Umbrella’s 200+ members, this year’s exhibition presents works responding to interpretations of the timely theme ‘The Future’. The exhibition features a $1000 art prize generously sponsored by Bamford Medical Practice. Exhibitions also on display include works produced by Young Indigenous Printmakers and Kit Colvin’s Living Outside of Time.
Umbrella can have 72 people attend at a time (based on the one person per 4 square metres Queensland Government regulation), so we will be enabling visitors to book for one hour long spot each. Please book your attendance slot below on this page. The announcement of the Bamford Medical Art Prize winner will occur during brief speeches in the first (5-6pm) slot. All visitors will need to provide contact details. To book, type the quantity of attendees, type the details for each attendee, click ‘add to cart’, proceed to checkout, enter your billing details and ‘place order’. We will ask that you leave by the end of your allocated slot. Walk-ins will be allowed from 8pm onwards. Feel free to invite your contacts via the Facebook event, however they will need to book here to confirm attendance. Please also join our eNews and follow our social media for updates. Please contact staff if you wish to cancel your booking.
