Shop call out
Calling artists, artisans and makers
Have you visited the Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts gallery shop in person or online? Our shop currently features work by established and emerging artists from North Queensland, northern Australia and those with strong ties to the north. Umbrella aims to showcase, support and promote regional artists. We have developed a strong offering of unique, handmade artworks and objects, including textiles, ceramics, paintings, prints, books, cards and sculptures.
In the lead up to Christmas sales, we are looking to expand our stock and are calling for applications for our onsite and online gallery store. We are seeking work of an exceptional quality that demonstrates skill in process and design, and work that aligns with our aesthetic vision. If you have completed work or work-in-development that you would like to propose for inclusion in our shop within the coming weeks, please apply now. Applications for this round close midnight Sunday 10 November, however you are welcome to apply after this deadline for potential future inclusion.
