Print Commission 2024
13 September - 27 October 2024
Print Commission 2024
Print Council of Australia | Vivienne Adeney, Sheryl J Burchill, Hannah Caprice and Greg Harrison
Umbrella is delighted to host the Print Commission 2024 from The Print Council of Australia (PCA). This year's prints span diverse styles and techniques: etching/monoprint, aquatint, woodblock with chine-collé, and a mezzotint.
The annual exhibition features contemporary Australian artists who have each been commissioned to create an edition of significant new prints. The Print Commission continues to foster the creation of new work in print media and the development of Australian printmaking. It also provides Australia’s best opportunity to start and grow a museum quality collection of contemporary works on paper, and is an important fundraiser for the PCA. To purchase one of the prints, visit PCA online here.
