Dyana Rogers

Visit the Jungle Club to see at collection of Yunbenun based artist, Dyana Rogers, large and medium sized oil paintings direct from the studio.

Dyana creates abstract paintings with dramatic gestures and bold colour palettes. The work is made intuitively in an expressionist style. She is inspired her surrounding environments and uses them as a catalyst to express an inner emotional landscape. The canvas are layered with richly pigmented oil paint over days and weeks, often rubbed back to reveal earlier marks, then layered again.

About The Artist

Dyana Rogers is a North Queensland based artist and stylist, who has exhibited in solo and group shows in New Zealand and Australia. She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005 from Dunedin School of Art, majoring in Painting.
