Screenprinting Workshop with Bronte Perry

Join Umbrella and artist Bronte Perry from 2-3:30pm Saturday 5 December 2020 to learn basic screenprinting techniques. Print one of the two provided designs onto two fabric items (1 tea towel and 1 tote bag, or 2 of the same item). This workshop is suitable for beginners and materials (including a variety of colour options) will be provided. Participants are required to wear covered footwear.
This workshop will be held in the downstairs Makerspace at Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts, 408 Flinders St, Townsville (next to Mary Who? Bookshop and opposite Woolworths).
Tickets (1.5 hour total) $80 each for Umbrella members | $100 each non-members | Limited to 10 spaces

Bronte Perry is Umbrella’s Public Programs and Retail Assistant, and she also works casually at Tafe Queensland North as a Visual Arts and ATSI Cultural Arts worker, where she has taught screenprinting. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Canberra.
