Prints & Pots – Call for Entries



Exchange 2016
Bribie Island Community Arts Centre heartily invites Australian printmakers and potters to participate in our Inaugural exchange and exhibition (2016)!
All accepted entries will be exhibited in the Matthew Flinders Gallery in a 3 week long exhibition. You will receive another artist’s work as part of the exchange (3 prints OR 1 pot).

Basic Guidelines for Printmakers
Paper Size: A3 (29.7 x 42.0 cm, 11.69 x 16.53 inches)
Maximum Print Size: A3 (Bleed print)
Edition Size: 5 (make 5 that look as similar as possible)
Submission Deadline: March 1st (posted to centre)
Cost: $30 (you receive 3 prints in the exchange)

Basic Guidelines for Potters
Pot Size: 450g
Pot Type: mug
Edition Size: 3 (make 3 that look as similar as possible)
Submission Deadline: March 1st (posted to the centre)
Cost: $10 (you receive 1 pot in the exchange)

By registering your interest you will receive:
Submission Guidelines (please read in full and follow them to produce your edition)
Pay online via a bank transfer details
Submission Form to include with your edition
News and Updates from the BICAC Prints and Pots team

Your edition will need to be posted to us by no later than the 1st March 2016
We will then sort your edition along with the other submissions we have received, exhibit and auction 2 of your items and post your exchange parcel back to you in May 2016.

    I was interested in this exhibition until I saw you needed editions. I do monoprints and one off prints and never editions. Pity that.

      Well, consider it a challenge, Judy. It does say make 5 as similar as possible. That’s a pretty small edition. Or do an edition of digital prints of one of your monoprints.
