130 artists participated in Compact Prints 2008, from around Australia and the world, including Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Ukraine, USA, Finland and Iran. This year, many participants submitted a third print as a donation for our yearly fundraiser/auction. The professional support from auctioneer John Soutar of Smith & Elliot as well as help from five great volunteers saw 110 prints sold to the highest bidder. Almost $3,000 was raised from the print auction and will be used to engage two emerging curators in 2009.
