All canvases have been taken. The only thing we're asking for now is for the artists to do and their canvas and details.

All artworks must be delivered to the gallery by Monday 17 November 2008. Late works will not be accepted.

Collection of Artwork
Artworks MUST be collected between 9am and 5pm Monday 19 & Tuesday 20 January 2009.

Conditions of Entry

1. All entrants must be financial members of Umbrella Studio at the time of collecting their canvas, and for the duration of the exhibition.
2. A 50 x 50cm canvas will be given to the entrant upon the return of their completed entry forms.
3. No works are to be removed during the exhibition unless stipulated by Umbrella Studio. Umbrella retains the sole right to remove any works from the exhibition.
4. Each entrant may only submit ONE entry.
5. A completed ENTRY FORM must be received by Umbrella Studio no later than Friday 31 October 2008 to be eligible for the Clean Slate exhibition.
6. Upon delivery, all artworks must be accompanied by a label clearly identifying the piece.
7. All artworks must be delivered no later than 5pm Monday 17 November 2008 to: Umbrella Studio - 482 Flinders Street. Townsville QLD 4810, unless special arrangements are clearly made with the staff of Umbrella Studio.
8. All hanging entries must be ready for display with “D” rings securely attached, 5-8cm from top of work.
9. Entries must be the original and unaided work of the entrant.
10. Arrangement and expenses pertaining to the delivery and collection of entries are the responsibility of the entrant.
11. Umbrella Studio exercises all due care in exhibiting and handling entires. However, works shall at all times remain at the risk of the entrant. Umbrella Studio will not be responsible for loss or damage whatsoever to any work whilst in its custody. Each entrant is responsible for maintaining their own insurance cover.
12. Works may be done in any medium. Works must be created in 2008 on the canvas supplied by Umbrella Studio.
13. Works will be on display at Umbrella Studio from Friday 21 November 2008 to Sunday 18 January 2009. Please note, submission of artwork does not guarantee that the work will be part of the exhibition.
14. Works are to be for sale. If Umbrella Studio sells the work on behalf of the Artist, they will receive a payment less 30% (inclusive of GST) commission. Payment to the artist will be made within 30 days after the artwork collection date. The artist must provide a price for their artwork which takes into consideration Umbrella Studio commission, and states if the price is inclusive or exclusive of GST.
15. If no completed artwork is received by Umbrella Studio by 5pm Monday 17 November 2008, the entrant will be asked to return their canvas or provide compensation.
