Claudine Marzik & Tijn Meulendijks (Main & Access Space) 27 August -3 October

The works of Claudine Marzik & Tijn Meulendijks depict the North Queensland environment and reflects society’s current focus on ecological sustainability. This exhibition will feature an installation using organic material, selected on their form, colour or symbolic significance by Meulindijks and a series of paintings that corresponds and communicates with the installation by Marzik. Both artists have migrated from Europe – Holland and Switzerland, and are trained in floral arts. Besides the visual aspect and the aesthetics in their work, the joint background is an integral part of their collaboration.
