This is a course for all artists and creative types. Over two days across two weeks learn about the blueprint to building a rich body of work around a topic or theme of your choice. The Lamplighters course is about building the concept and ideas in your work using dynamic research principles.
The course is in a group environment and discussion is a main benefit.
In the course you will learn what steps to go through from the birth of a creative idea, through to the creation, testing, development and completion stages. You will learn how to deepen and enrich your creative processes.
You will leave the course with a solid, grounded plan for building a new exciting body of work! And lots of support to see you achieve your plans.
This is a great course to join if you need a spark of inspiration to kick start your art making for 2017.
What to Bring:
- Your own laptop with WiFi capabilities. We will be able to use the internet in the Umbrella Studio space.
Alex Christopher is an arts educator, writer, community curator and sometimes artist. She has a small business that keeps artists and business people on track with their making and promotions.
The facilitator will be able to offer individual support after you have completed the course. This is to be arranged directly with the facilitator. You are eligible to 50% off the individual support if you sign up to this course.
